Claritine tablets contain 10 mg of loratadine, a non-drowsy antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms. It works by blocking the effects of histamine, a natural chemical that causes sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and itchy or burning eyes. Claritine is effective for conditions like hay fever, perennial allergic rhinitis, and urticaria (hives), providing relief that lasts up to 24 hours to help maintain normal daily activities and sleep.
Loratadine 10 mg:Â A non-drowsy antihistamine that inhibits histamine effects to alleviate allergy symptoms.
Relieves sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and itchy/watery eyes
Helps reduce hives itching, redness, and size
Provides long-lasting, 24-hour non-drowsy relief
Suitable for adults and children 6 years and older weighing more than 30 kg
Take 1 tablet once daily with or without food
Not recommended for children under 6 years or those weighing less than 30 kg (use other formulations like syrup instead)
