Lotense is a hypertension medication that contains Amlodipine which belongs to a group of drugs called calcium channel blockers.
Lotense is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), which lowers your risk of a stroke or heart attack.
It is also used to prevent certain types of chest pain (angina) and decrease the frequency of angina attacks.
Amlodipine works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily and increase the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart.
