Neo Mercazole contains the active ingredient carbimazole, an anti-thyroid medication used to treat hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid gland). It works by reducing the production of excess thyroid hormones by the thyroid gland, helping to restore normal hormone levels and relieve symptoms such as rapid heartbeat, weight loss, and anxiety.
