Triplixam 10/2.5/10 mg 30 tablets is a prescription medication used for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). It is a combination of three active ingredients:
Perindopril arginine (10 mg): An ACE inhibitor that widens blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood.
Indapamide (2.5 mg): A thiazide-like diuretic that helps remove excess salt and water from the body, reducing blood pressure.
Amlodipine (10 mg): A calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens blood vessels, improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure.
Triplixam is indicated as substitution therapy for essential hypertension in adults who are already controlled with perindopril/indapamide and amlodipine taken at the same dose level. It is not suitable for initial therapy and is intended for patients who require all three agents to manage their blood pressure.
The usual dose is one tablet once daily, preferably in the morning before a meal.
The fixed-dose combination is not suitable for starting treatment; dose adjustments should be made with the individual components first.
Not for use in patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance below 30 mL/min).
Contraindicated in patients with a history of angioedema, severe liver impairment, or allergy to any of the components.
Use with caution in patients with moderate renal impairment, electrolyte disturbances, or certain heart conditions.
Indapamide is a prohibited substance for athletes and may result in a positive doping test.

Swelling of ankles or feet (due to amlodipine)
